‘WINE-DOWN FRIDAYS’
Whether it be the end of the year, month or week, this can be the best time to ‘wine-down, begin to relax, and not only think about what’s left to be done, but also to reflect upon all that we’ve accomplished.
Avondale’s LITTLE TREE ART STUDIOS has opened their newly constructed class room and SHOOK ARTS would like to celebrate by having a series of fun yet practical workshops to enjoyably ’Wine-Down’ the end of year and gear up towards the upcoming Holiday Season.
Yes, the holidays will soon be here and isn’t this the best time to to get together and have some fun creating a variety of handmade items that can be the best part of creative gift-giving.
Handmade/repurposed boxes, greeting cards, gift tags…things that will make your gift giving even that more personal. Or... how about making a few gifts for yourself...you deserve it!
Relax, un-wind, and if you’d like…bring a bottle of wine and let’s play.
These informal ‘Wine-Down’ workshops will take place at LITTLE TREE ART STUDIOS on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 6pm until 9pm. (Address: 2840 Franklin Street, a few blocks past the Avondale Post Office -- Get directions below).
SUPPLY LIST
- Cutting tools (scissors, mat knife, punches)
- Rulers / Straight Edge Maker
- Paper Adhesives / Glue
- Decorative Papers
- Ephemera (Buttons, beads, feathers, photos)
Basic project supplies will be provided,
however if you’d like to bring your own special papers, ephemera, and such … all the better.
We will also have on hand unique decorative papers for sale to use on your projects.
Space is limited, so sign up early!

Using de-constructed box templates you will learn the very basics of box construction, decorated
to your tastes.

Using card stock, stamping, embossing, gluing and glitter, you'll create handmade greeting cards.
